Instead of another "texty" post, I present to you photos (yes, photos! On THIS blog!) from my trip last weekend to New York. Unfortunately, some photos, namely those of the Magnolia cupcakes, are on a yet-to-be-finished roll of film, so those will have to wait. However, I did develop the other roll I took. And so, without further ado, allow me to present...
Lunch at Tavern on the Green...
Followed soon after by the trip to Magnolia Bakery. That's my uncle standing next to me, and my aunt peering inside the window. My uncle is slightly unpleased, and extremely cold.
And here's one of my cat Claudia, celebrating Fall, her favorite season. And no, she didn't come to New York with us.

Your kitty looks like a little princess on that pillow! Too cute. I like the photos, especially the ones outside the bakery. A real snapshot of life in NY.

Marie-Thank you. You're a sweetie. Claudia is very vocal about her seasonal preferences, so yes, I know for a fact that fall is her favorite. ;) And yes, that's King Kong! TOTG has quite a few of these animal topiaries on its grounds, and apparently, a few of them were featured in Edward Scissorhands.
SoCal-Claudia definitely likes to think of herself as a princess, that's for sure.
Wow... Claudia is all grown up... *sniff*... And I have to echo Marie's sentiments -- you're looking very photogenic! Those shots are working for something...
Oh, Claudia is adorable! I love cats with those light grays and tans. It's about the only coloring not represented in my own passel of kitties!
