The Naked Two-Step

I was not cut out for twins. I have craved quiet virtually my entire life. "Me time" is more important to me than it is to most. And I am far from the most patient person in the world. Throw a toddler (now preschooler) into the mix, and my sanity sailed out the window oh, long about the second they came from from the hospital.

It's no secret that the life I'm living now is really hard for me. Luci and Nicholas are high-needs babies each of whom records a minimum of 50 temper-tantrums a day.

But then there are moments like this one that occurred one night after dinner. And it made me stop and think, if only for a few seconds, that there are indeed bright spots in the days I share with these two.

Behold, the dancing duo.

That's SO cute - but now I get it! They scream with enthusiasm too! Hence the "all the screaming". So cute when they're dancing and giggling though! Yesterday I had the best laugh watching my 2yr old immediately start bopping and moving to Abba. They really are timeless :)

On a side note, I *love* the colour of your walls, and your floors are awesome too! Stunning!

So cute! Ah, the giddy screeches. Little Elvis didn't do that, but Baby Plum does. It gets loud. Love Luci's dance steps.

Check out Luci's moves! Super cute.

Also, your new house looks absolutely gorgeous.

Thanks, everyone. Ness-I'd like to say that most of the screaming is of this variety. Unfortunately, that's not the case.

And thanks for the compliments on my house. If you could see a wide-angle shot of it, however, you would cringe. It looks like Toys R Us vomited all over every single room.

    I feel your pain.

I'm behind on life (and blog reading) but this one was too cute not to comment! :)

    LOVE THIS!
And the squealing as they book it through the kitchen!
